“Cities in turmoil” Workshop
The research group on “Cities in turmoil” held its first joint workshop 「『動亂中的城市』:歷史地理資訊系統與近代中國的城市生活」at the Institute of Modern History (Academia Sinica) on 15-16 September 2011. The meeting was a semi-open event as it was designed both as an academic and hand-on event. The project is an exploration of the use of historical GIS on several cities and topics in the Republican period. The contributors included:
